$mkdir -p /mnt/hpdriver $mount -o loop <downloaded .iso> /mnt/hpdriver or $mount -o loop -t iso9660 <downloaded .iso> /mnt/hpdriver $now change to hpdriver dir $cp * <any_path> change to the copied dir. check the type installation files. If .rpm files then try $rpm -ivh <package name> If .tgz (src code) files then try autoconf way Xtract tar (Note -: Refer the README files before installation) $./configure $make $make install If u have both rpm & src code, it will be better if u go with src code.
