Position: System Administrator
Functions / Day to day activities:
1. Install & configure Linux servers (redhat and other UNIX flavor)
2. Configure Apache web servers with virtual server setups / Configure tomcat
servers with apache
3. Compile / Build various modules/ applications as required on Linux
4. Provide support to the development team in configuring & deployment of
various applications
5. Provide necessary support to the testing team in configuring of applications
6. Manage user accounts / security
7. Configure & manage DNS / DHCP servers
8. Configure, manage & support proxy servers such as squid
9. Configure, manage & support mail server
10. Install, configure & deploy various applications as required
11. Create various scripts for server maintenance & management
12. Monitor, manage and ensure availability of various servers & associated
applications in the development / staging environment & production
13. Carry out documentation
Qualifications / Experience / Skills - Minimum:- BE/Diploma in Computers
• worked in Linux/Unix based environment
• 3+ years of experience
