Job Profile • Understanding customer requirements o Interaction with the IT and Business personnel of the Customer organization o Documentation of requirements • Requirements analysis & solution design o Mapping of requirements to Vistaar’s OLAP data model o Mapping of requirements to solution artefacts o Documentation of solution design / components o Design of inbound data integration • Building of a solution around the software product which will involve o Product installation and configuration o Creation and management of Vistaar’s multidimensional data model o Scripting using VB or JavaScript based on design specifications o Building / configuring the solution front end as per design specifications o Building of ETL bridges, PL-SQL procedures for data movement/transformation o Unix shell scripting for process automation o Testing of the solution • User training o Creation of user training material o Walking the user through the solution Technical Skills Required Essential • Unix, Windows operating environments • Oracle exposure • Any one or more of the following o Visual Basic and Visual Basic for Automation for Excel o Java Scripting o Java Desirable • Experience in requirements gathering and customer facing activities • Implementation experience of Enterprise Applications (ERP, SCM, BI) • PL-SQL Educational Qualification • Engineering Graduates from a reputed university. Management qualification desirable • For application consultant position, non-engineering graduates with MBA-IT/Systems with 0-2yrs experience can also be considered. For this qualification, technical skills mentioned above are not mandatory Experience • Candidate should have 2 to 6 years of relevant experience. For candidates with Management qualification, 1 year of experience should suffice. Salary will not be a Constrain.
