We are currently looking out for below resources in Mumbai with the following skillsets who can join us on for a long term assignment with one of our reputed clients: Must have: 3-5 years Solaris System Admin experience - Linux System Administration in addition to Solaris System administration skills - Solid understanding of a UNIX-based operating system; understand paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and what device drivers do, filesystem concepts (inode, RAID, logical volume management). - Experience debugging/resolving realtime Production issues. - Experience with network storage solutions (NIS, SAN, Fiber Channel, iSCSI). - Experience of supporting database installations under Unix - Comfortable with most aspects of Unix operating system administration (ex.: configuration of mail systems, system installation and configuration, printer systems, fundamentals of security, installing third-party software, etc.) - Proficiency in host security (e.g. passwords, uids/gids, file permissions, ACLs, filesystem integrity, use of security packages). - Solid experience in shell scripting, awk. - Experience with complex TCP/IP networks (containing routers, switches, VLANs). - Experience with network security (e.g., configuring firewalls, deploying authentication systems, applying cryptography to network applications, intrusion detection, log collection and analysis). - Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts; can configure NFS, LDAP, ActiveDirectory domains, DNS, and DHCP; understands basic routing concepts. - Production support experience at a site with a 100% uptime requirement where call tracking/management is leveraged If in case this opportunity to work with Tek systems put you to interest kindly forward me your profile quoting the following details :- 1.your interest for Tek Systems (Client side)? 2. your comfort level to work from Mumbai location? 3. your Total Exp in mentioned skills? 4. your relevant exp in mentioned skills, ? 5. your present CTC and expectations? 7.
