Hi Shirish, In order to telnet to Linux Machine you need to have telnet server running on Linux. It doesn't get installed on any Linux distribution by default as far as I know. So first get "telnetd" running and then try. The other thing is telnet login on linux is seldom used since it's a plain text protocol. Mostly "ssh" is used for that purpose which offers encryption.
