dear all
i haved my mail server running on a production envirnmen with qmail as mta
of 6000 users and a concureent connection of around 300 users
during working hours on a p3 copermine compaq ML370 with 893 Mb ram .
my server crashed last wekk the existing server crashed with sen virtual
server as host server
i have setup my mail server as a rhel5 as guest os with 4 gb ram and 2
virtual
cpu i installed the os on host hddd and assigned i Tb hdd from the lun
to my mailserver and migrated all users data the new server
since then iam facing 2 problems
1 i have a serious performance issue during working hours
my sar out put during peak hours is

2 my local mails are not getiing deliverd it lies on local queue
and will not get flushed it will get delivered only if
i stop my imap server or my httd server then all the mails get deliverd
to respective users and again after some time the same happpens and also
my webmail users frequently get imap drop error
in the imapd file what would be an idle value
for maxdeamons & maxperip value
