Thanks for all yours valuable solution to me.... Here's the setting that we need while using vmware as a virtual n/w, when you use linux in vmware on windows 1> Network conn. LAN-->properity-->TCP/IP(properity)-->assign IP address .. I did this one 2>Remove firewall .. I did this one 3>firewall setting : Advanced tab-->Local arae conn..-->setting-->select Telnet server ..I missed this one 4>Network conn. LAN-->properity-->go to authentication tab---->deselect IEEE-802 & in Advanced tab : Internet connection sharing-->select your desired VMware n/w check both down option, and click on setting button and select telbet service... ..I missed this one *5> In VMware click->VM->setting->Network Adapter--> select Host only Windows: Run->services.msc-->start telnet automatically run--->cmd-->net start telnet or you can check by run ->cmd->tlntadmn Linux --> Hope everybody knows .. RUN -> cmd-> telnet ip <-- and enjoy This worked for me Fine now!!
