Hi All,

Sorry for am replying too late..as was busy in some task

Thanks for all yours valuable solution to me....

Here's the setting that we need while using vmware as a virtual n/w, when you
use linux in vmware on windows

1> Network conn. LAN-->properity-->TCP/IP(properity)-->assign IP address  .. I
did this one
2>Remove
firewall
 .. I did this one
3>firewall setting : Advanced tab-->Local arae conn..-->setting-->select Telnet
server   ..I missed this one
4>Network conn. LAN-->properity-->go to authentication tab---->deselect
IEEE-802 &
     in Advanced tab : Internet connection sharing-->select your desired VMware
n/w
     check both down option, and click on setting button and select telbet
service...   ..I missed this one
*5> In VMware click->VM->setting->Network Adapter--> select Host only

Windows:  Run->services.msc-->start telnet automatically
                 run--->cmd-->net start telnet
                 or you can check by run ->cmd->tlntadmn

Linux --> Hope everybody knows ..

RUN -> cmd-> telnet  ip   <--  and enjoy

This worked for me Fine now!!

If anyone have any problem in doing so please let me know

Thanks
- Shirish
