Sr Operation Engineer
Yrs of Exp :- 3 to 5 yrs
Must Have:
- Experience in working with Data Centers, NOC (Network Operation Center) ISP
(Internet Service Providers)
- At least 3-5 years experience as a systems administrator in a Linux
environment ( Redhat or Cent OS)
- Expert level scripting with bash or other scripting languages, preferably
python
- Working knowledge of configurations Webservers ( Apache)
- Working knowledge of system wide monitoring tools like nagios/cacti
- Good in LAMP --- Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP, Advanced systems and automation
programming skills like ant/cruise control/maven
- MySQL administration skills in a HA environment
- Experience in a 24x7 operation with up time requirements
- Strong implementation and release practices
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Java, JSPs, Tomcat, Spring
- Ability in troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
Lead Operation Engineer
Yrs of Exp :- 7 to 10 Yrs
Must Have:
- Senior system administration skills working in Operation Centers or Data
Centers,
- At least 7-10 years experience as a systems administrator in a UNIX/Linux
environment
- Experience with DBA skills for mySQL in replicated environments
- Experience with distributed database systems (cassandra/redis)
- Experience with setting up storage architectures (RAID6/RAID10, drbd) and
filesystems (reiserFS, ext4) , No specific Branded Storage Solution,
- Experience with distributed storage environments (mogileFs/glusterFs)
- Experience with system deployment tools (chef/puppet/network installs)
- Experience with administering DNS servers using BIND
- Experience with administering ftp servers (pureftpd/vsftpd)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with configuring/monitoring network stack on linux
- LAN and WAN troubleshooting skills
