A small set of patches to clean up the current debugging output a bit. It's
not perfect yet, still a bit messy but we're getting there.
The main work here is abstracting some commonly used stuff away into the
macro, resulting in each DBG statement being automatically prefixed with the
device name (or device file) and the function it is called from.

The last patch adds a property to have run-time access to the debug levels.
This property is only present if --enable-debug is provided at configure
time.

The attached patches apply on top of master with Przemo's patch applied.
