Hi,
I would like to know about the current status of the drivers.
I've downloaded the linuxwacom-0.8.5-9 package an compiled the wacom.ko
kernel module (using kubuntu kernel 2.6.28).
I've loaded the module "insmod wacom.ko" and plugged in my bamboo fun
p&t and the system seems to recognize the tablet.

dmesg:
[16864.273921] usbcore: registered new interface driver wacom
[16864.274477] wacom: v1.52-pc-0.2:USB Wacom tablet driver
[16905.428016] usb 7-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and
address 3
[16905.603809] usb 7-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[16905.611080] input: Wacom Bamboo Craft as
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.1/usb7/7-1/7-1:1.0/input/input7
[16905.652077] input: Wacom Bamboo Craft as
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.1/usb7/7-1/7-1:1.1/input/input8

cat /proc/bus/usb/devices:
T: Bus=07 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 3 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=056a ProdID=00d2 Rev= 1.06

E: Ad=82(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 64 Ivl=4ms

But the problem is, that I got no pointer events on /dev/input/event*
and /dev/input/wacom.
I tried with wacdump and cat.
So I wonder whether pen support is already implemented or only tablet
recognition?
Anywhere was written that this version of "linuxwacom" adds support for
new bamboo tablets, so I was wondering?
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or it wont work with my kernel. I don't
know?
