Hi all, Just posted patch to handle new MT interface. Please see the FIXME in it though. I'm looking for opinions on preferred way to handle the ABS_MT_SLOTS that was only added in Linux 2.6.36. Do you guys like to check in autoconf, use #ifdef's like I did, or define the missing values in header files so user can later upgrade kernel and get feature without recompiling?
As you'll see, it was every easy to add in MT event support with the reworked code to support buttons being rerouted to different channels. For Wacom devices that support multiple tools in proximity (Intuos1 & 2?), you can see how it would be pretty easy to move their kernel interfaces over to the MT events now.
