The use case would be to use button 4 of my tablet or someting in GNOME for enabling/disabling touch&gesture, and button 3 or CTRL+button4 or something else in GNOME for switching between absolute and relative mode via xsetwacom. Of course, this could be done inside the driver. In that implementation I'm interested too. Actually more then via xsetwacom. Attached you will find some scripts that (at the moment) do not do anything, except showcase the notification and document the use case.
