The Ubuntu bugtracker won't help much, it's Ubuntu-specific. Our bugtracker
is here: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=69596
Either way, we're quite short on manpower and there is still no-one working
on it. If you have a device, you're the most likely person to get this
working again. By now the code is abstracted enough that adding another
backend should be reasonably easy once you know the actual protocol the
device speaks.

Adding support for old serial tablets is not tied to X server releases
anyway. all it needs is a wacom driver update, so once you have the code
ready, we're set to go ;)
