Hello again,

Gestures for touchscreens is a great achievement, I ran into one little
problem though and I wonder whether it can be solved from the logical
point. That is, if I want to scroll by a two-finger gesture, I
necessarily start by touching down with one finger and that already
counts as a single finger input with the according consequences.

I noticed, however, that this problem does not exist for Synaptics
Touchpads. Here, a two finger scroll gesture does *NOT* automatically
trigger a single finger event!

Is there a substancial difference between the touchpad and the
touchscreen (I assume event rates could play one role) or can this
possibly be changed so that a dual finger action will not trigger a
single finger event despite a short moment when only one finger is down?

regards,
ManDay
