Device Intuos4 WL on bluetooth, using hid-wacom.c driver.
For stylus:

[  1945.611] (II) /dev/input/event8 (10:wcmEvent): c=0 i=1050626 t=1
s=343955190 x=23562 y=8781 b=0 p=0 rz=0 tx=0 ty=0 aw=0 aw2=0 rw=0
t=0 px=0 st=0 cs=4

channel=0
id=1050626 (pen) hex 100802
type=1 (STYLUS_ID)
serial=343955190 x=23562 y=8781
b=0 (switches to 2 or 4 depending on the rocker button)

for eraser:

[  2316.024] (II) /dev/input/event8 (10:wcmEvent): c=0 i=1050634 t=8
s=343955190 x=9914 y=8490 b=0 p=0 rz=0 tx=0 ty=0 aw=0 aw2=0 rw=0 t=0
px=0 st=0 cs=4

so, it's exactly the same as for pen except:
id = 1050634 (eraser) hex 10080A
type = 8 (ERASER_ID)

yet, rocker button acts as right/middle button for eraser, but it
doesn't do it for pen. Any ideas why it's like that are welcome.

There are 2 lines that might be a hint:
[ 1422.951] (II) Wacom Intuos4 WL: type not specified, assuming 'stylus'.
...
[ 1422.952] (EE) Wacom Intuos4 WL stylus: Invalid type 'touch' for this device.
