Since I had to reverse engineer the USB protocol for this tablet, I can say with 100% certainly that no USB data is transferred when this not-an-eraser is moved or pressed against the screen. There's also a LED on the screen which lights up when the stylus tip makes physical contact with the screen or the hardware buttons are pressed, and it doesn't light up when the not-an-eraser is used.
