Hello Something strange happened: I wanted to try out the latest beta, since as it seems, it is no longer necessary to restart the Xserver.
So I did what I did successfully for 0.7.2 with my 2.6.13 kernel, some days ago namely: ./configure --enable-wacom --with-kernel=/usr/src/2.6.13 First odd thing, configure returned. BUILD ENVIRONMENT: architecture - i686 linux kernel - yes 2.4 module versioning - no kernel source - no /usr/src/2.6.13 Xorg SDK - no /root/linuxwacom-0.7.3 XSERVER64 - no dlloader - no XLib - yes /usr/X11R6/lib TCL - no TK - no ncurses - yes So it seems that he thinks kernel is 2.4. Running make indeed did not produce any driver in the src/2.6.13 as it did before. I tried the even linuxwacom-0.7.2 and the same happened. So I can't right now compile the 0.7.2 driver. I tried also ./configure --enable-wacom --with-linux=2.6.13 with the result: BUILD ENVIRONMENT: architecture - i686 linux kernel - 2.6.13 2.4 module versioning - no kernel source - no Xorg SDK - no /root/linuxwacom-0.7.2 XSERVER64 - no dlloader - no XLib - yes /usr/X11R6/lib TCL - no TK - no ncurses - yes and again I can't compile the driver What do I miss? When I run make in src/2.6.13 I obtain Building linuxwacom drivers for 2.6 kernel. ***Note: Drivers not enabled as modules in your kernel config but requested through configure are NOT built This is absurd, of course they are Uwe Brauer ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
