I have a volito2 and it works now.
Well for me the kernel 2.6.10 did not work, but the 2.6.13 does. 
You didn't use the kernel modules shipped with the 2.6.12 kernel but
the one of 0.7.2, are you sure about that? Because that was one of my
problems.

Which distribution? My xidump and wacdump are those shipped with
debian wacom-tools, but the one of 0.7.2 work as well
