Ouch. I got a feeling that it might have something to do with one of the 
TOOD:s I've written in the source since you have an SMP-kernel. 'SMP:ify the 
module'... I have an Uni-Processor system myself (non-SMP kernel), and the 
other kernel module had no problem without locks, so this got pushed onto the 
TODO-list.

I'll have to go though the code to make it SMP-safe. Meanwhile could you 
answer a few questions? I'd like to pinpoint the situation when it works and 
when it doesn't so I might know if I found the problem or not.

Which processor type do you have, and was there any difference in the 
processor type for your tests? (like Uni/HT/Dual-core or several CPUs)

Did you connect the tablet before any application opened the device in any of 
the cases? Even connecting it for a short time will change the internal data 
so you will have less change in the system the second time you connect it.
