Danny,
It sounds like a hardware issue. You should ask HP to exchange your stylus
with another one. CursorProx is for Wacom mouse, not for stylus.

Hi,
I'm trying to get the HP TC4200 Tablet PC Stylus to work and am pretty far
with it.
The only remaining problem is that the pressure when just entering into
screen proximity is way too high.
What I mean:
(wacdump -f tpc /dev/ttyS2)
Stylus Button Up
================
reported pressure
212 <--- when furthest away (when IN_PROX just switched to yes)
174 <--- right on screen, no pressure applied
255 <--- right on screen, full pressure applied
Stylus Button Down
==================
reported pressure
150 <-- furthest away (IN_PROX = yes)
130 <-- right on screen, no pressure applied
240 <-- right on screen, full pressure applied
I have been reading about some "CursorProx" X setting in the Howto, but I
guess it is not supported for Tablet PCs (if I could make "Proximity" to
mean "half as far than now or less" it would work fine, I guess)
Note that apart from that, everything works - cursor moves nicely,
borders are ok, Erasor works and so on...
Erasor pressure:
0 <-- right on screen, no pressure applied
255 <-- right on screen, full pressure applied
What now?
cheers,
Danny
