(I sent this to the linuxwacom-devel list, but I think it may be more
appropriate here, so I'm sending it)

The new Lenovo ThinkPad X60 Tablets have a nifty new feature called
"multitouch," which allows you to use your finger (or anything else
capable of creating pressure) instead of the tablet pen. It still uses
ISDV4, but the finger input does not work with 0.7.7-6.

I believe that the new finger input is equivalent to a new device
along-side stylus, cursor, eraser, pad, but none of those devices
receive X events. I know that it's sending input on the same channel as
the tablet pen (cat /dev/ttyS0 tells me that), but I don't know anything
more about how to make it work.

I'm a programmer, and I'm willing to submit code, knowledge, hexdumps of
cat /dev/ttyS0, anything that may be useful to get this ported, but I
have no knowledge of linuxwacom's infrastructure.

Oh - if it already is ported, and I just couldn't figure out how to make
it work ... how do I make it work? :)

Thanks,

- Gregor Richards
