Hi.

We have a problem with Wacom Intuos 2 (model XD-0608-U) tablets with our
new dual LCD desktops, where single monitor desktops and older model,
dual LCD desktops seem to be fine.

No matter what configurable is tweeked, and no matter if there is or
isn't a /etc/wacom.dat file the tablet behaves as if there is a smaller
desktop than what is implied by the two displays.

The user typically uses the tablet as a mouse but with his 2 displays,
can only access about 2/3 of the total screen area. the point stops few
centimeters from the left hand and right hand edge. vertically, the
cursor stops about 1 or 2 centimeters from the top and bottom.

I've been pulling out my hair trying to get this to work so any hints
would help to get this going. Note the software versions for os, kernel,
rpms etc. are the same for both platforms.

Tablet:
Wacom Intuos 2 XD-0608-U

Software:
Linux Centos 4.2 with locally compiled kernel
Kernel: 2.6.12.6
xorg-x11-6.8.2-1.EL.13.20 (rpm)
linuxwacom-0.6.4-6 (rpm)

Working hardware Nonworking hardware

Dell 450, Dell 470 "Bell" white box vendor,
                             motherboard is SE7525GP2
CRT or LCD Dual LCD
Single or Dual displays

thanks,

Paul
