No, it should not be a problem to compile for 2.6.20 with the linuxwacom 
source for 2.6.19.

Well, since you're running Feisty I'd recommend concider using the already 
included linux-wacom packages from the repository. They're pretty recent 
(0.7.7-7 last I checked) and should be much more user-friendly than compiling 
them yourself (unless you really need the new features of 0.7.7-8).
