In Mysql it's possible to have a Timestamp column have the property "on update current_timestamp". (This updates the value of the field for each update.)
Auto-initialization and auto-update: ts TIMESTAMP DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP ON UPDATE CURRENT_TIMESTAMP http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/timestamp.html Is this supported? I couldn't find any reference to this in the documentation, but I wanted to check in case I missed something.
