Total noob beginning today ...

I saved output from 'generateChangeLog' command and attempted to use the output 
as the --changeLogFile input for a subsequent 'update' command using a new 
[empty] schema. The update fails, reporting

   Migration Failed: Error executing SQL <create-table-sql-command>

On running the specific command in MySQL QB, I see

   BLOB/TEXT column 'xxx' can't have a default value

The offending column is MEDIUMTEXT. I find that this behavior is expected. See 
[1]. What's up?
