LiS messages with Japanese/Chinese characters

I'm posting this to the whole mailing list as others may be interested too.  I hope you don't mind that John. Steve,     I seem to be getting loads of junk (Japanese/Chinese only messages) sent to :-   linux-streams@gsyc.escet.urjc.es       Is there any reason for this?   It's something I'm trying to resolve.  When the gsyc folks lost the mailing list and I started up the new one, they forwarded messages received at the old address on to the new list.  Seemed like a good idea at the time. The gsyc mailing list always did get lots of junk as can be seen in their archive. However, they seem to have had a good filter as we list members didn't get the junk. Also, external archives like at mail-archive.com don't show the same junk. It seems the new setup with the forward doesn't include the filtering.  I've asked them if they can put it back in place or, if not, to remove the forward.  I don't seem to be getting much response lately.  Perhaps they are still taking time off to watch the World Cup even though Spain isn't in the running any longer. Hopefully this will be resolved shortly. Regards,      Steve
