Thanks, but I don't think that is the 1.8 Amp power supply, at least not
the common one with the DataPower label on it.

The 1.2 Amp power supply I am looking at appears to have taps for 240
volts, but they are not labelled as such. I suspect Apple built the 1.2 Amp
model in two versions, one for North America, and a dual voltage model for
international sale with minor changes.

Dafax tried to find DataPower some time ago to get some information from
them and see about making a new run of these power supplies... they are out
of business.

Since switching power supplies have a lot in common, and often fail in the
same way, any good repair shop that does switching power supplies all the
time should be able to fix it. For example, Television and Computer Power
supply repair shops can probably handle it, but you may need an above
average one. Until we have a schematic for the 1.8 Amp version, providing
the schematic of the 1.2 Amp power supply will be helpful so they can see
the expected voltages and pinout. I think this is more practical than
sending power supplies to the few people that have Lisa power supplies.

Perhaps we should devise a check-list for common problems so that any
electronics enthusiast can give it a go?

James
