There have been some discussions on some of the other LEM lists, like the Compact Mac list, where they've talked about cleaning some very smoke yellowed compact case with detergent and bleach and leaving them out in the sun. My case wasn't discolored or mottled, so I'll leave it as it is. A nice light tan, not the light beige of the more modern cases.
