Pessoal Grato pela atenção. Funcionou, mas infelismente não seio que estava errado só que eu estava testando o cl-pdf e dava o referido erro, depois instalei o cl-typesetting e tudo passou a funcionar.
Testei quase todos os exemplos e ficaram perfeitos, beleza. Depois fui testar no ubuntu ai a coisa complicou pois não funcionou de jeito maneira. mas com a dica do Bruno Campagnolo deverá funcionar já que o erro no Ubuntu se refere justamente a charset. Vou testar e informo o resultado.
