As a quick addition, it is worth noting that no changes are requested to LISP 
protocol in anyway.

The signalling aspects consist in just using LCAF and take advantage of the 
deployed mapping system. In practice it is possible to use LCAF to encode the 
multiplexing and compression information in a mapping. 

Once installed in the LISP Cache that mapping would just indicate to the ITR to 
perform TCMTF operations before lisp-encapsulating, while on the ETR would 
indicate to perform TCMTF operation after decapsulation.
