Thanks Deborah and all who pinged me for your welcome and kind words.

Joel has been instrumental to this group and I will have very big shoes to
fill. I would like to thank Joel for his imparting some of his wisdom with me.
I am looking forward to working with Luigi and all of you.

All the best Joel!

I'd like to say a few words about Joel.

Not only did he run this WG for quite a long time, he was also involved in the
Routing Research Group (as was Luigi) and started a lot of the seed ideas for
LISP. I have worked with Joel for many decades and his ability to spot
architecture bugs and issues is unique and makes him one of a kind. His
expertise will be missed but I gather he will still be involved technically.

I want to say, on behalf of the original LISP authors, a huge thank you Joel
for your huge contributions. I think the protocol and its deployments are
better off because of your consultation and effort.

Appreciative,
Dino
