I think the specificity that this document adds to the encoding of
geo-coordinates and the extension into geo-points makes this EID/LCAF type
usable in practice. I also think the document is ready for publication
after diligently fine tuning the specifics and incorporating what has been
learnt through implementation.

I support moving this document forward.
