I think this underlines a continuing subscriber problem .. that still amazes me when I
see it come from a listowner!
People do NOT read the welcome and info files they get when they subscribe to
lists.. :((( This list's purpose was clearly defined in those messages!
Listowners for sure should know better and thus not waste subscriber time and
space with these kind of posts.. and the famous "unsub" or "how do I unsub" type
posts ..
Telling subscribers from the git go that they are responsible for knowing the info in
those files doesn't seem to help.. and when you see listowners do the same thing.. it
makes you wonder if there is any way at all to make it clear?
I can excuse newbies of this kind of mistake .. but oldtimers and listowners.. ???
