90% of the spam I see is relayed through some unsuspecting site, and the
ultimate user is either untraceable or untouchable. Though I do on occasion
take time to write complaints about specific messages, I'm more inclined to
set up a bastion filter against spam and concentrate my efforts, such as they
are, on trying to encourage open relay sites to plug their holes.
