I'm not sure that's completely true. If you go to

the URL I noted yesterday, it distinctly shows the egroups address as 
being [EMAIL PROTECTED] And if you look at the fullinfo 
link (which is somewhat hidden), it's the greatcircle info/intro file.

I'd say if you asked them, they'd say they're simply setting up a 
centralized/standardized point for their users to access the list, 
not that they're attempting to "take" it over. I'm not sure it's any 
different than any other exploder type list, other than it's real 
public and visible.

That's not to say I necessarily agree with this interpretation or 
that it can't be improved, but I'm sure from looking at it that this 
is whatthey're thinking/intending. I think it's rather muddled, 
myself, but there sure isn't any attept to hide ownership or mislead. 
IMHO.
