Hi there. I have an issue that I just ran
into. I just finished setting up an Win2K Pro machine for my home for
development and testing of applications. The only full version of CF Server I
have is 3.01. The other is CF4.0 Enterprise Upgrade. So I have to install the
3.01 version first. Well, after I did that install I went to check to see of all
was well. It was not. I receive an error that I am attaching below. So I thought
that I would go ahead and install the 4.01 version and that all would be well.
It was not. Still receiving the same error message. So I checked to see of
the CF services were running. They are not listed in the services applet. The
IIS Server runs fine though. So I want to Allaire's site and there I discovered
that CF 3.01 is not supported in Win2K. So what I would like to know it, what
can I do t make this work? I cannot remove 3.01 and install the 4.x version as
it is only an upgrade. And I know that if I install an eval version that it will
not work either. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
