I AM TRYING TO LEARN STUDIO DEBUGGING ON MY LOCALHOST MACHINE BUT AM HAVING PROBLEMS.
WHEN I CLICK
"BROWSE" IT COMES UP WITH AN ERROR WHICH READS, "THE COLDFUSION FILE YOU ARE TRYING TO
BROWSE
CANNOT BE RESOLVED INTO A URL. ADD A SERVER DEVELOPMENT MAPPING TO ENABLE URL
RESOLUTION FOR THIS
FILE."

MY SETTINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

On the REMOTE DEVELOPMENT SETTINGS WINDOW
Under Debug Start Tab
Debug in RDS Server = Localhost
Start page URL = http://localhost/InetPub/wwwroot/cftrain/acfd/lab/perk_plus/index.cfm
THAT IS THE CORRECT URL

Under Remote Development Settings Tab
ColdFusion Server = localhost
Studio and CF Server paths = C:\Inetpub\wwwroot

Under Mappings Tab
ColdFusion Server = localhost
Studio and CF Server paths = C:Inetpub\wwwroot
Browser path = http://127.0.0.1

/////////////////////////

THEN I READ THE BOOK AND ADDED INETPUB TO RDS RESULTING IN THESE SETTINGS.
Under Debug Start Tab
Debug in RDS Server = InetPub
Start page URL = http://localhost/InetPub/wwwroot/cftrain/acfd/lab/perk_plus/index.cfm
WHICH IS AGAIN, THE CORRECT URL

Under the Mappings Tab
ColdFusion Server = InetPub
Studio and CF Server paths = C:Inetpub\wwwroot
Browser path = http://localhost

WHEN I CLICK "DEBUG" AND "DEBUG START", the error that emerges is "An error occurred
contacting
the ColdFusion RDS (InetPub Hostname: InetPub:) (-1) </TH></TH></TH>

SO, IT STILL DOESN'T WORK. Would/could someone who uses Debug give me a hand with
this thing?
I'd appreciate it. In advance, thanks.
