Glad it was that easy to determine... I had dealt with a similar problem
several weeks ago and it ended up being NT Authentication as well.

You can't use NT authentication w/scheduled tasks. You have to use the
standard
(Netscape compatible) type of authentication.

Subject: scheduled tasks
What's the secret to get scheduled tasks to work? I want to be able to
email users whenever certain records have been modified. My output file
created whenever the scheduled task runs reads Access Denied. I figured
maybe my logic was causing the scheduled task to fail. So, I set up a task
where the URL calls a cfm page that simply has the word "boo", no cf logic
at all. I elected to save the output to a file thinking the word "boo"
would show up in the designated text output file. The only thing that shows
up is Access Denied in the output file. Any advice would be appreciated.
