Sounds like you're referring to the WDDX COM object, which you would use
in VB. However, ColdFusion comes with a JavaScript WDDX library
(located in /cfide/scripts/wddx.js)

I am sure that is wouldn't be difficult to convert JS to WDDX. It is
nothing but a form of XML, and that is easily manipulated with
client-side VBScript (IE) or in JavaScript. I bet someone has already
done it, but I don't think it would be too hard to do.
