In fact, I recently saw something that would go through a page and parse out
mailto tags but I can not remember the tag name.
However, I agree that this is the type of activity that make people shy away
from the Web at times. This sounds like a misguided activity (at least on
the surface).

First of all... shame on you!!! I hope this is going to be used for good
rather than evil.
Second, I don't know of a tag, but it's not too difficult to write a cfhttp
request and a regular expression to parse out email addresses.
The more difficult task would probably be writing a spider in CF (and that's
probably why you don't see a tag to do this). IHMO, Cold Fusion is really
designed to spider web sites. Sure, it could, but I bet there are far more
efficient ways of doing it.
