Just a reminder about our upcoming meeting for September -

First off, Don Huffman will be doing a short presentation on two brand-spanking new tags to ColdFusion: CFFlush and CFDump.  CFFlush is great for increasing "virtual" response time (the response time the user perceives) and CFDump is a good way to debug your code as you develop.  Don will provide useful examples and caveats about using these new CF5.0 tags.

Our main speaker is Christopher Cortes, a consultant with Stonebridge's Houston office, and author of the new book, Optimizing ColdFusion 5.  Having worked with Chris, I can tell you that he knows his stuff, so this is definitely a meeting that you want to attend.

This meeting will be sponsored by Impact Innovations (www.impactinnovations.com), an excellent IT consulting and staffing firm.

As always, our meeting is the second Tuesday, on September 11, with food at 6:30.
The meeting is at Knowledge Development Center in Irving:

Knowledge Development Centers
7301 N. State Highway 161
Irving, Texas 75039

If you'll be there, please RSVP to me: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=RSVP

As a community that serves the need of ColdFusion developers, recruiters are more than welcome to attend - however, passive recruiting only, please!
