What if you could make all of your ColdFusion applications run 10, 20, up to 50 percent faster?
What if you could develop that clustered environment app to support twice as many users on the same equipment?
What if you could learn how to do this for FREE?
Chris Cortes will be in town with a presentation on optimizing ColdFusion 5 applications based on his new book, titled Optimizing ColdFusion 5.
"Optimizing ColdFusion 5 is an intermediate to advanced text, which enables ColdFusion architects and developers to improve application performance and stability. By supplying programmers with the techniques necessary to fine-tune application development and deployment, Optimizing ColdFusion 5 is unlike any other ColdFusion book."
Chris, a Macromedia Certified ColdFusion Developer and Microsoft Certified Professional, is a charismatic presenter and a spectacular ColdFusion developer. He truly is one of those people who knows ColdFusion inside and out.
As always, our meeting is the second Tuesday of the month, on December 11, at 6:30PM.
Next month's meeting will feature a presentation by Dave Cahall on using hidden HTML elements to enable live server-side validation and other creative interface techniques, and Jeremy Ridout will will be giving us the "final word on CFLock".
Food and beverages will be provided by our sponsors, so bring your appetite!
The meeting is at Knowledge Development Centers in Irving (see map below). A very special thanks to them from the DFW-CFUG for allowing us to use their excellent facilities.
