Loyd,

Just a quick thought...be sure to specify the complete path to the
executable instead of just a relative reference.

ie c:\windows\system32\myexe.exe

instead of myexe.exe

If that isn't it can you send us a little more info like the error
message you're receiving?

Regards,
Dennis

Subject: cfexecute dos batch file?

Good morning all,

We are trying to execute a dos batch file with cfexecute and can't get
it to run. The batch file runs fine when we execute it directly, but
cfexecute doesn't seem to be able to. Has anyone had any experience
with this type of setup?

The ultimate goal is to allow content admins to publish files from the
development server to the production server. We setup a batch file that
will work great if we can get cfexecute to work. Otherwise, does anyone
else have any ideas about this type of procedure?

Thanks

Loyd Campbell
