This might seem weird, since I have been developing CF sites for 5 – 6 years now, but I am having trouble trying to set up a site on our production server.  In the past I usually had an IT department that created the appropriate IIS settings and such and I simply placed the code and worked with CF Administrator.  Here is the scenario.

  1. The site is at http://lpmdemocam.v4wc.com/index.cfm
  2. The site I created will not run any .cfm template.  It will however run .html templates.
  3. I have a index.html file that says Hello World and that runs, I have a .cfm template that has no CF code in it.  It simply has Hello World in it.  It also has no Application.cfm file in the directory.
  4. I am getting a 500 error.
  5. This particular error does not show up on the CF logs or the system event logs, as far as I can read, or tell.
  6. I have other existing CF websites on server and they run fine.  Also if I make the Home Directory of new website point to an existing website that is working, then it still does not work but the original website still does.

Does anyone have any particular ideas of why this is happening?  Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Ricardo M. Sanoja
