Yes, try a google for Hungarian naming convention.  There are others as
well, but this one is well documented and used for other languages.
That google should also get you some of the other popular conventions
(the names of which escape me... ;-)

Anyone know of any standardized naming conventions for programming?
Microsoft has their take on it for VB on MSDN, but they're more specific
than anything else I've found.  Surely there must be some sort of
standardization, right?
