I have to publish content to an external database for an
external site. After copying the
data out to the external database from an internal CF, I need to remove the old
content from a cached query on the external CF server. I’m clearing query cache by
requesting the query that produces the content but provide it with a negative
number so the query cache will be destroyed. Finally, I have to finish this process
by displaying the detail content record from the internal server. We are moving to CFMX and replacing this
kludge with webservices, but in the mean time I have
to find a solution to this problem.
Does anyone have insight on a different approach I can take for clearing
