SQL Server ??

We had to rename our Windows 2000 server.  Do we have to re-install SQL 2000?  I was under the impression at one point in time if you renamed your server, then SQL Server would no longer work.  However, after we renamed the Windows 2000 server, I was able to create a new database in SQL Server.  Has something changed with SQL Server 2000?  Should I re-install SQL Server?   Thanks -   Tom Schreck 817-252-4900 [EMAIL PROTECTED]   I have not failed.  I've found 10,000 ways that won't work.   - Thomas Edison
