Thanks Matt,

Yea, I intend to provide some comparison of fb4 and mach-ii in the
following articles and I may see if I can get some data on BlueDragon
just to have a broad-sweep... New Atlanta released the public beta of
BlueDragon 6.1 recently (they jumped the version number to make it
match the CF version numbers), which afaik now has support for CFC's,
so once I either work around or they fix an inconsistency I found in
their implementation of <cfargument> then hopefully I'll be able to
provide comparisons of all 4 frameworks with it. heh :) Sean Corfield
actually sent me an instant message earlier today to ask me about it
but I was busy moving at the time. We got a new place downtown --
pretty nice little 4plex. More square footage, gas heat and all wood
floors. :)

In any event, I started with Fusebox 3 because I was already familiar
with it, having been asked to do an awful lot of Fusebox work in the
past. I know a little bit about FB4 and Mach-II but won't know until I
get into them how long it will take me to produce the follow-ups. I've
also tried to avoid making any claims of stylistic superiority --
obviously I have a personal preference for the coding style encouraged
(if not enforced) by the onTap framework, but more often than not this
boils down to preference, so I'm wanting to minimize religious
flame-wars over the content of the articles. :)

I may have a final article after the mach-ii article in which I get a
little more into the particulars of what naming conventions, etc. each
framework uses, etc. and will likely have some comment about the
introduction of "plugins" and why I dislike using xml files for
configuration as in fb4 and mach-ii, though I'm going to try to keep
it down to the facts as much as possible. At the very least I think
that if they were going to use xml files they should store them with a
.cfm extension since it seems to me like an open-door for hackers to
look at the internal workings of your application.
