I dunno... I have ... mixed feelings about this statement. I used to
agree with it completely, but these days I'm not so sure. Granted,
that may have a lot to do with the frameworks I've been looking at --
onTap, Fusebox and Mach-II all do a pretty good job of supporting the
idea of MVC, and I haven't really had a serious look at any other
frameworks -- what other frameworks may exist -- I know there are a
few others, like cfObjects and SmartObjects but most of them don't
seem to be doing real well in the advertizing department.

If you do a google search for "coldfusion framework" for instance,
onTap, Fusebox and Mach-II show up pretty well in the ranking, but
beyond that there's a lot of articles and sites that aren't really
related to the "one-off" frameworks. They end up being largely pages
that just coincidentally have the word framework on them somewhere,
like "Macromedia ColdFusion - Security Framework Overview" (using the
word to refer to parts of the CF API like <cflogin>) ... So maybe my
opinion that all frameworks seem to be relatively neutral toward MVC
has a lot more to do with the frameworks I've seen.

I'll probably comment on this stuff a bit more later on, right now I'm
headed to pick up my car from the shop. :) Turns out it was a
computerized electrical component that had gone bad. So now that
they've released version 2.0 of the starter motor drivers and replaced
some of the hardware I should be set. ;P
