OT: Intel HyperThreading

Anyone got the Intel HyperThreading? I fried my motherboard last weekend and 
decided it's time to build a new one instead of patching this one. I'm 
thinking a P4 3.0GHz - any suggestions?

I've heard it's great for memory hawgs like CFMX and the like...
